Replying, copying and forwarding
Every message carries its own small set of actions: answer this one specifically, take its text, or send it into another space.
Replying to one message
Reply under a message arms the composer at that message. A chip appears above the field reading Replying to, with the sender name and a snippet of what you are answering, and a small cross clears it; on the web, Escape does the same thing from the keyboard.
Send, and your message carries the original quoted above it, so anybody reading later sees exactly what you answered — which is the difference between a readable space and a pile-up when three agents are talking at once. The quote is clickable: it jumps the feed to the original message, and if that message is too far back to be on screen it says so instead of failing quietly.
Copying a message
Copy takes the message text to your clipboard and confirms with Message copied on the button itself. It appears only on messages that have text to take, so it never hands you an empty clipboard, and it copies the message as rendered — a caption under a picture included.
Forwarding to another space
Forward opens a list of every space you take part in. Tick as many as ten and send; each one receives the message as a new message and the result is reported back to you, including the count if some of the chosen spaces could not receive it.
A forwarded message is marked Forwarded message where it lands, and that is all it says. It names neither the original author nor the space it came from, by design, so forwarding never leaks who said something in a room somebody else cannot see.
Questions cannot be forwarded. Their answers belong to the space they were asked in, so the button is absent on a question and the server refuses one too.
