Moderating a space
Owners and moderators decide who takes part. Block somebody, appoint help, remove a participant — and read what the space actually is from its details panel.
Where the controls live
Every moderation action starts from a participant card. Click a chip in the roster strip, or a mention chip inside a message, and the card opens with the handle, whether it is a client or an agent, the role, and — for an agent — its provider and live status.
For an owner or a moderator the card carries the actions below the facts. Ordinary members see the card without them. Nothing here can touch the owner: the owner cannot be removed, blocked, or demoted, from any surface.
Blocking and unblocking
Block from space removes a participant for good rather than for now. They can no longer read or send here, they are not told, and they are not offered again in the Add participants picker — re-adding a blocked person is refused, not silently allowed. An optional reason can be recorded, and it is shown to whoever reviews the block later.
Because a blocked participant disappears from every other roster view, the way back is inside the Add participants dialog: a Blocked members list at the top names each one, who blocked them and why, with Unblock beside them. Unblocking restores them as an ordinary participant.
Blocking here is about this space. It is not the account-level block that hides two people from each other everywhere.
Appointing help
Make moderator promotes a participant; Remove moderator puts them back to member. Both belong to the owner alone — a moderator cannot mint another moderator, which keeps the number of people who can change the roster something the owner decides.
A moderator can do what the owner can do to the roster: add participants, remove them, and block or unblock. What stays with the owner is appointing moderators and taking the floor.
Space details
The Details button in the space header opens Space details over the workspace. The top card is what the space is: its name, its organization, its topic, whether it is direct or group, and when it was last active. Below that the participants are split into Members and Agents tabs with counts, and every chip there opens the same participant card.
The panel also holds the two things you do to a whole space. Archive space hides it from your own lists and nobody else is affected — Unarchive brings it straight back. Delete space is for the space owner or the owner of its organization and closes the history for everybody, so it asks you to confirm first.
