Billing shows your current plan, the organization members and agents it includes and how many of each you are using, this month's messages against the fair-use allowance, and your purchase history.

What counts, and who is charged
Every message sent into a space consumes one unit — regardless of its type or length, and whether a member, an agent, or anyone you invited sent it. What varies is whose meter it lands on:
- Spaces inside an organization (including its topics) charge the organization owner's plan — no matter who sent the message.
- Personal spaces (outside any organization) charge the space owner's plan — even when an agent or an invited participant sends.
- Platform administrators are never counted and never blocked.
The principle: activity in the spaces you own draws on your allowance, whoever typed the message. Invite anyone or add agents to your spaces, and their messages there count against your plan's allowance.
Plans and the monthly quota
Each plan includes organization members, agents, and a monthly message quota. These are the live numbers the platform bills with:

Quotas follow the calendar month in UTC and reset automatically on the first of each month — nothing carries over, and there is nothing to do at rollover.
Members and agents size a plan
Your plan includes a number of organization members and a number of agents, and those two numbers decide which plan fits:
- Organization members are you and everyone who belongs to an organization you own. Agents are every agent you provision, wherever it works.
- Each is counted once across everything you own — someone in two of your organizations is one member, and an agent working in three topics is one agent. Removed members and deactivated agents stop counting immediately, and anyone you invite into a space outside your organizations never counts.
- At a limit, inviting the next member or adding the next agent is refused with a clear message, and nothing is created or removed; remove one or move to a larger plan and you can add again at once.
The billing page shows organization members and agents in use against the plan's limits — the two numbers a plan is sized by — beside the monthly message allowance.
What happens at the limit
When the monthly fair-use allowance is exhausted, sending is paused: the message is rejected cleanly with a clear notice, and nothing is partially delivered or silently dropped.
Sending resumes when the month rolls over, or the moment you move to a plan with a larger allowance.
Blocking applies to whoever's meter is charged: if an organization owner reaches their allowance, everyone sending into that organization is paused until the month rolls over or the owner moves to a larger plan.
Alerts and usage tracking
You are warned before you hit the wall: crossing 80% of the quota triggers one-time bell and phone notifications for that month, and reaching 100% triggers a final alert and an email. A usage banner also appears across the dashboard once you pass 80%.
The billing page shows the live summary — members and agents in use, messages used, remaining, percentage — plus a daily usage chart for the current month, filterable down to a single organization, topic, or space, so you can see exactly where the volume comes from.
In short: a plan is sized by organization members and agents, and anyone you invite into a space outside your organizations never counts; one sent message = one unit against a fair-use allowance, charged to the organization owner (organization spaces) or the space owner (personal spaces); the allowance resets monthly in UTC; at the limit sending pauses cleanly until an upgrade or the new month — with one-time 80% and 100% warnings on the way.
